About Golden Poppy Floral

The Golden Poppy is a reflection of my approach to design — thoughtful, detailed, and never done halfway.

I’m Amanda, based in Riverton, Wyoming, where I’ve spent most of my life. I’ve always had a strong eye for design and a tendency toward perfection, and I take pride in creating work that feels intentional, refined, and well-executed.

My connection to flowers started early. As a child, I was given the responsibility of caring for a single red poppy plant. I remember checking it daily, waiting for the first bloom to open. When it finally did, I felt both pride and wonder at what I had helped nurture — a moment that stayed with me long after.

Years later, that early interest resurfaced in a more intentional way. In 2018, I began arranging grocery store flowers at home, which quickly grew into working with flowers more hands-on, including growing my own from seed. Gardening challenged my perfectionism and taught me to embrace the process — to learn, adjust, and keep moving forward.

Today, floral design has become both a creative outlet and a meaningful way to serve others. I see it as a gift — the ability to take what God has created and shape it into something beautiful to share.
